Description: Students are introduced to computer science through hands-on, playful learning with the Dash Robot from Wonder Workshop. Using Dash, kids learn foundational coding concepts such as sequencing, loops, events, and problem-solving by programming a real robot to move, respond, and interact with its environment. 

The program emphasizes creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking as students work through engaging challenges and projects that feel like play while building real-world STEM skills. With age-appropriate, visual coding tools, learners gain confidence in technology, strengthen logical reasoning, and see immediate results from their code—helping transform screen time into meaningful learning and preparing students for future success in a digital world!

Grades: 1st-5th (correction – 1st graders can walk themselves)

Program Dates: Feb 10th – May 12 (no class 2/17, 3/31, 4/14) 

Time: Tuesdays 2:45 – 4:00pm (class start at 1:00pm on Early Dismissal Days 2/10, 3/10, 4/7, 5/12)
