Would you like to get a “Lucky Tiger”? We are giving away “Lucky Tiger” to everyone who would like to share a short video (10-30 seconds) of Lunar New Year greetings for the upcoming Cherry Chase Celebration.
Just say “Happy Lunar New Year!” with your family and share your well wishes! Check PTA website for details on how to bring a “Lucky Tiger” home.

Walkathon and other events feel far away, but it currently takes several weeks to get cleared by the district for on campus volunteering.
What you need is :
- TB assessment or test <4 years old and
- Completed COVID vaccination with booster.
And don’t forget to get your waivers out of the way for each child. It only takes a minute.Click the link
WAT & Auction Updates
Walk-a-thon will be in-person this year
Cherry Chase’s 2022 Walk-A-Thon will be held in person on campus on Friday, March 25, but only Cherry Chase students and approved volunteers will be allowed on campus for the event. Go to https://permission.click/
For those wondering about the current situation, know that we have been keeping safety in mind with all planning so far. We’re watching how things are going, but for now we are still hoping for the best. More to come. Get approved as volunteers early and, if you are concerned, join the planning team and help ensure we have a safe event that builds community and funds our programs (email wata@cherrychasepta.org
Vote on Walk-a-thon T-shirt Design
Join the Walk-a-thon team in selecting the winning t-shirt design.
Join us on Monday, 1/26, 7:30pm at this link. We will be voting on the top t-shirt designs and will share the variety of open positions to prepare for the event (ranging from ordering supplies to managing the day-of-event staff to helping us think through the logistics; we’ll ask for day-of-event staff later). Most roles are a few hours of preparation. We look forward to seeing you there!
Walk-A-Thon T-Shirt Sizes
Thanks to our sponsors, all current Cherry Chase students will be given a free 2022 Walk-A-Thon themed t-shirt in March.
Student shirt sizes are based on grade level. Students in grades K-1 will be given a Youth Small by default, while grades 2-3 get Youth Medium, and grades 4-5 get Youth Large.
If your student would prefer a different size (bigger or smaller), you must fill out this change request form by February 9: https://forms.gle/
