Yearbook FAQs and tips

• Did you know that a TREE is planted for EVERY yearbook purchased? Yep, that’s TRUE! So far this year we are responsible for planting 167 trees! And there were years in the past with up to 600 trees for Cherry Chase! If you haven’t done so yet, you can purchase your copy NOW to help our planet even more! 

          P.S – only until MAY 1 you can CUSTOMIZE your copy, after this deadline you will only be able to get the generic school one.  

•   Not sure if YOUR KID will appear on ANY of the yearbook pages this year? All kids are included on their classroom page using the school portraits (YAY!), but anything beyond that is in YOUR HANDS! As much as our volunteers try to include as many kids as possible on the different pages through the yearbook, we only have limited photos available to us and limited space. But luckily, every yearbook purchase comes with 2 PERSONAL PAGES where YOU can upload YOUR OWN photos! They are printed at the end of the yearbook IN YOUR COPY ONLY – customize them until MAY 1 to enhance your kid’s experience.

• Did you know you can add MORE personal private pages to your copy of the YEARBOOK?!! 2 personal pages INCLUDED with EVERY yearbook purchase, but you can add MANY more ($0.99 for every additional 2 pages). Both the first 2 and the rest are ONLY visible to you and printed ONLY in your copy.

• Don’t have time to print photo books for your family? USE THE YEARBOOK!! As one of the Cherry Chase parents told us – “I felt so bad for taking tons of photos and never printing ANYTHING until I discovered the yearbook CUSTOM PERSONAL pages!!! Just dump your photos and they will be printed with minimal effort from your side! I admit there were years we’ve added 30-40 custom pages…”

• NO TIME to design your custom personal pages? Delegate to your KIDS! Purchase the yearbook, upload some photos and let your kids play with the design – trust us they are very capable and creative! This will make them LOVE the yearbook even more, even if the design ends up not to your liking 😉 This tip is especially great for 3-5th graders.

• Need IDEAS for what to include on your CUSTOM PERSONAL pages?” We have you covered! ANY photos related to this school year memories and beyond will work, really, those pages are fully YOURS to customize. Examples:

• • Family trips, birthdays, celebrations and special events
  • After school activities
  • School events and celebrations – there will be of course school-wide pages for that, but nothing beats your personal point of view!
  • Classroom activities photos – ask your teacher for some!
  • Playdates and sleepovers with friends
  • Everyday life! 
  • Your pets!
