Cherry Chase Band – Registration

Grades: 3, 4 and 5
Location: Multipurpose Room
Days: Tuesdays and Thursdays

Beginner Band – Introduction to a Band instrument
Time: 3:50 PM – 5:10 PM
Session: October 2025 to May 2026

Intermediate Band – Requires at least 1 year playing Band instrument in CC Band
Time: 4:50 PM – 6:10 PM
Session: September 2025 to May 2026

Description: This year, we are pleased to offer After School Beginner Band and After School Intermediate Band.  Our Band Director Judy Nelson will teach how to play an instrument within a band.  Instruments include: Flute, Clarinet, Trumpet, Alto Saxophone, Trombone and Percussion (Drums, Xylophone).

How to Register:

1. Complete Registration Form for Beginner Band or Intermediate Band AND
2. Complete PTA Student Waiver AND
3. Submit Band Rules of Conduct at 9/29 Band Parent Meeting AND
4. Make $600 Band Fee* Payment

• Via Cherry Chase PTA eStore: Beginner Band Fee or Intermediate Band Fee OR
• Via check dropped off to PTA box in PTA nook in school office (payable to “Cherry Chase PTA”)

*Band Fee DOES NOT include instrument rental.

Instrument Rentals

Students are responsible to bring their own instruments for Cherry Chase Band.

Recommended Options:

• Cherry Chase PTA Instrument Rental (Cherry Chase PTA eStore) – CC PTA Band instruments are available to rent for After School CC Band students.  Please contact CC Band Chair to confirm instrument selection and Instrument Rental Agreement.  CC PTA rentals help support our After School Band program.
• West Valley Music ( https://www.westvalleymusic.com/rentals ) – Along with competitive rates, West Valley Music has a School Rebate Program in which 5% of all purchases (from Cherry Chase Families) will become store credit for our After School Band program.

10/28/25 Regular Band Practice begins for Beginner Band and Intermediate Band
