Did you enjoy the wonderful Fall Festival parent volunteers put on this past weekend (if you were one, thank you so much)? We certainly enjoyed the Festival. And it was supported by your donations to the PTA. The prizes, the pumpkin patch, decorations, materials for making and repairing games, even the canopies and tables. All purchased with PTA funds.
Keep an eye out for Diwali coming up which the PTA funds in conjunction with the Cherry Chase neighborhood association. Then, watch out for our other great special events this year. Thanks to our donors!

SAVE THE DATE – Diwali Celebration
Virtual Diwali Celebration on Nov 19th, 2021
Our PTA, in collaboration with the Cherry Chase Neighborhood Association (CCNA), invites you to the 8th Annual Diwali Celebration on Friday, November 19th, from 5.30 -7.30 pm. This year Diwali continues to be a VIRTUAL affair with the same festive spirit! To register for participating and attending, click register. We are looking for volunteer leads to help coordinate kids performances, rangoli and fashion show. If you are interested, please send email to diwali@cherrychasepta.org.

Coaches for Girls On The Run -Spring 2022
Help empower the girls at Cherry Chase Elementary! We’re looking for Girls on the Run coaches for the Spring 2022 (March 14-May 22) season.
As a coach, you’ll lead a small team of girls from 3rd to 5th graders through social-emotional lessons on friendship, emotions, conflict-resolution, and community-building, all while training to complete a 5K at the end of the season.
You don’t need to be a runner/athlete nor have coaching experience. Coaches will receive discounted registration for their girl and a guaranteed spot on the team.

Giving Tuesday Campaign Kick Off
As Thanksgiving is approaching, we want to kick off the season of Gratitude and Giving. We are so thankful for our parent community helping us stay together & committed, and giving to our great school during the pandemic. We would be honored if you can join us to celebrate the Cherry Chase Gives campaign ending on #GivingTuesday, November 30, 2021.
Donate any amount, $10, $20, $50, $150…We suggest donating $150 per student and joining the PTA to make sure your voice is heard.
With the campaign ending on #GivingTuesday, we will recognize and REWARD the classroom with the most participation during the month of November. All classrooms with 100% participation will WIN prizes. Your donation is spent at Cherry Chase and is 100% tax-deductible.

Additionally, get the word out to “GET THE MATCH” from participating companies. Already donated? You can also request a match for post donation in the same calendar year.
