SAVE THE DATE! WALK-A-THON AND AUCTION will be Friday, March 22nd, 2024 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm.
Welcome to the 2024 Walk-A-Thon & Auction! The WAT&A is a long running tradition at Cherry Chase where students, parents, teachers, staff, and local businesses all come together to support our school community. We raise money for our school while having fun spending time with friends and family and promoting physical activity. Typically, most families participate, and if your student wants, you’re welcome to walk with them after the first lap.

Please participate in the walk and encourage friends and family to donate to the PTA on behalf of your student. This year our goal is to raise over $75,000 for Cherry Chase to support our in-class programs, after school programs, and community events!
If you’re new to Cherry Chase, watch this video for a quick overview of the events and your role. There’s a lot, so joining us for the first time can be overwhelming. If you still have questions, feel free to email Joy at wata@cherrychasepta.org.
Volunteers Needed
Walk-a-Thon is 100% volunteer-lead and we need your help! We’re looking for 250+ volunteers during the event, so we need every family to participate. Please find the details HERE and sign up as a volunteer to help.

Take off the afternoon of Friday, March 22nd! It’s a fun day that you and your students will not want to miss. Students must be accompanied by an adult. Sign up to volunteer! There are many different roles we need to fill. Please help us out with baked goods, setup, or as an event volunteer! Complete the Student PTA Waiver (if not yet completed) which allows your student to participate in any PTA event for the year View your student’s Walk-A-Thon pledge page (hosted by 99Pledges) Use it as is, or personalize it! Find your individual links in your email inbox. No user ID or password is required for online pledges. Reach out to friends & family easily by email, Facebook, Twitter/X, WhatsApp, or text message. |
