Winter/Spring After-School Registration Now Open!

If you plan to participate in the ASP Programs, please review the After School Programs Agreement for Cherry Chase Elementary Students and Parents. As these programs are PTA enrichment programs, we need your support to ensure that they run smoothly. This agreement will be sent to you once registrations for each vendor are finalized. 

  • Please turn this in into the Afterschool Programs Drawer in the PTA Nook in the Office OR Upload your file to this link.
  • Please use the links on the individual program pages to sign up.
  • Don’t forget to complete the PTA Waiver Form at the time of enrollment.
    • Without a completed waiver, your student may not be able to attend the ASP.

Student Transition & Dismissal Guidelines

  1. Pick-up for TK/K Students
    • TK/K students must be picked up by a parent/guardian/authorized person who can check them out from the classroom. The PTA will not be coordinating pickups for TK/K students.
    • Please communicate with your classroom teachers in advance.
  2. Transition for Grades 1–5
    • Students in Grades 1–5 are expected to transition to their enrichment classes independently at 2:30 pm dismissal.
    • Please communicate class details with your students in advance to ensure a smooth transition.
    • Tip for families: Feel free to pack a small snack for your child while they wait for other students to arrive. (Specific snack instructions may be sent by individual programs.)
  3. Students in Catalyst Kids / YMCA Aftercare
    • If your student attends Catalyst Kids or YMCA after dismissal, please work with your program to coordinate.
  4. Dismissal Procedures
    • For classes ending before 4:00 pm:
      • Dismissal will take place at the front gate near the office.
      • Catalyst Kids/YMCA will coordinate with vendors directly.
      • Please note that families are not permitted to enter the office for student pick-up. All parents should wait by the front gates for afterschool program dismissal.
    • For classes ending after 4:00 pm:
      • Guardians should pick up students directly from the classroom, where instructors will release them.
    • Late policy
      • If you are late, please contact the Afterschool Program Volunteer Chair for your program to help assist as no child will be left unattended.
      • Vendors may have their own late pickup policies for their programs.
  5. Attendance Policy
    • Students absent from school due to illness or health reasons are not permitted to attend ASP classes that day.

Scholarships Available

The PTA offers partial scholarships for After School Programs to families with financial needs. Please use this form if you would like to avail of a partial PTA-sponsored scholarship to take an After School Program at Cherry Chase Elementary. Please fill a separate form for each child you would like to request this for. 

Guidelines for Scholarship awards: 

  1. Each family may avail of only 1 award per school year. 
  2. To be equitable across programs of varying costs, the award amount per family may vary and will not cover 100% costs of the program.

Please note that this information will be confidential and will only be shared with the PTA and Principal of Cherry Chase Elementary for authorization.
