Lipin Art & Acrylic: Lipin Art is a New art form I am introducing this year. Lippan handicraft is a traditional fine art of Rajasthan and Gujarat’s desert regions in India. ‘Lippan’ means ‘to apply’. Camels, birds, trees, blooms, peacocks, and other nature-inspired motifs are depicted on the majority of houses using mud, thread, and mirrors.
First 4 classes will be Lipin Art. There will be Acrylic mix media Painting in the next 4 classes.

Grades: TK-5th

Step-by-Step Art: Kids will learn how to draw step-by-step, gradually proceeding from simple to complex objects and the human form. They will learn the importance of lines and forms. They will use dry media, such as colored pencils and pastels.
Kids will learn how to paint with acrylic colors on canvas. While learning how to paint they will also be learning how to draw. Depending on each kids capacity, focus and interest, they will be learning techniques how to paint using palette knife.

Grades: TK-3rd
